September 30, 2007. I added a flash video from our vacation at the beach in Panama City, FL.

August 19, 2007. I added a video of two of my Grandmothers to the video section. The video was shot in the early 1980's. Work on the new photo album is continuing.

August 7, 2007. I have recently added another video of a TV commercial I did in the late 80's that ran in the OKC and Tulsa markets... just a little nostalgia for me.

I have been moving the photos albums to SmugMug.com. So far I have about 5,000 of the photos moved (most in high resolution). I will be linking the new photos to this site soon!

Hey Everyone! Welcome to the personal web site of Dean Akin. Let me start by warning you that many of the pages on this site are password protected at the request of family and friends. Thanks for taking time to visit my personal web page. I made this page just for fun. Most of the work I have done up to now was for my business site, so I thought it would be fun to do something totally different for a change. I am not too creative when it comes to graphics, so don't look too close. It is my hope that my family scattered around the country will check in here often. I intend to update the site after holidays and special occasions. I would like to invite my friends and family members to submit new information to be included here. I am open to new ideas. 

Please take time to check out the pictures of my family and friends. I seem to have a lot of friends that don't want their picture taken. Too bad, what else am I going to put on a personal web site?

Oh yeah, don't forget my pets. If you know me, you know that I spend a lot of time with my two dogs, so I had to dedicate a page for them. Besides, I am convinced that God has a special place for people that don't like his animals.
